Wax Ring Carving Workshop

In this workshop you will create an organic ring, a smooth geometric ring or something in between!  This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or if you fancy trying something different.                                                                                                                    

Jewellers wax is easy to work with creating unique designs which could not be achieved in wire or sheet silver.

In this class we will cover everything you need to complete a unique design. You will learn to add texture to the surface and how to sand and smooth unwanted texture, adding wax to look like granulation and other surface designs.

Once the wax carving is finished we will send it away to get cast, which usually takes a couple of weeks. Once we have received it we will clean it up and polish it for you before contacting you to collect your unique ring.
